WHAT YOU’LL LOVESTAY IN CONTROLGet critical button control, and keep your hands on the handlebars while riding when you pair with your compatible Garmin device. A compatible Tread device must be paired with a compatible Y-adapter cable (sold separately); zūmo XT2 device users require the Handlebar Controller and Group Ride Radio Y-Adapter Kit (6-inch devices), sold separately, to complete the solution.

Connecting to the Handlebar Controller requires use of an accessory connector. See the device list below for details on what additional accessory purchases are required.
NOTE: Check the compatible devices page for a complete list of products that may be used with this accessory. Other Tread and zūmo XT GPS navigators are not compatible with this accessory.
Tread 2 GPS Navigator
No additional accessories required.
The included power cable has the accessory connector built-in.
A software update may be required. See Wireless Map and Software Update instructions.
Tread 2 – Overland Edition GPS Navigator

Tread 2 – SxS Edition GPS Navigator
No additional accessories required.
The magnetic mount power cable has the accessory connector built-in.

Requires additional purchase of the Handlebar Controller and Group Ride Radio Y-Adapter Kit (6″ Devices).
If you previously purchased the Group Ride Radio (6″, 8″ and 10″), you may have already purchased the Group Ride Radio Y-adapter Cable and the High-Current Power Cable. These cables will also complete the solution.
