LEARN ABOUT COVERAGE ZONES
Check your location for more information on the Cortex Monitor app’s cellular network coverage zone that provides service for your region. Cortex systems will still work outside the designated regional coverage zone by using Boat Network to connect to another internet source on the vessel, but the Cortex Monitor app’s default cellular network will only connect within each zone. ROAMING OUTSIDE COVERAGE ZONES
Using Boat Network, Cortex products can connect to and use an existing internet-connected network on board. If you have a satellite or cellular internet connection, your Cortex system can be configured to fall back to it when its own cellular network is not available, allowing you to connect to Cortex Monitor outside of our coverage zones4.
