WHAT YOU’LL LOVEENGINEERED FOR DEEP, STRONG SUB-BASS RESPONSEStowAway systems are purpose-built to take full advantage of the thin-line TW1 series subwoofer design – enabling them to deliver smooth, rich, evenly balanced bass output from a remarkably compact enclosure.
RUGGED ENCLOSURE DESIGNEach StowAway subwoofer system is constructed from marine-grade materials and features a low-profile, down-firing hard-shell enclosure.
SIMPLIFIED INSTALLATIONThe StowAway subwoofer system comes prewired with selectable harness exits at opposite ends of the enclosure. Slotted mounting feet at each corner of the unit’s base assist with “off-the-floor” installations or those in tight spaces where access is limited. A mesh grille is provided for added woofer protection.
POWERFULLY ADAPTABLEOn a wide range of car, boat and all-terrain vehicle applications, the all-weather TW1 subwoofers deliver superb sound quality and power handling. Both the 10- and 12-inch versions support pairing with amplifiers in the 75- to 300-watt range.
TW1 SUBWOOFER TECHNOLOGIESDMA-OPTIMIZED SPEAKERSProprietary motor, suspension and cone modeling systems are used to achieve long, linear excursion capabilities with low distortion and powerful sound output. With its recessed suspension attachment surface, the TW1 series’ thin-line frame serves to minimize the frontal clearance space required for excursion of the driver.
CONCENTRIC TUBE SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGYUsing a patented concentric tube structure built into the TW1 series’ injection-molded speaker cone body, the StowAway system offers a powerful combination of shallow mounting depth, minimal frontal clearance and big sub-bass sound.
ENGINEERED LEAD-WIRE SYSTEMCarefully engineered lead-wire design and attachments ensure controlled, quiet lead-wire behavior under the most extreme excursion demands.
TAB-EAR FRAME DESIGNBenefiting from years of JL Audio woofer design experience, the robust TW1 series speakers feature a space-saving tab-ear frame design that helps to maximize cone area within the woofer’s mounting footprint.
